OK, here is the story line:
Since the downfall of the Imperial Empire the Galaxy has been at work restoring peace. The establishment of the New Republic has been made, and many planets have joined, and ambassadors of the republic have been sent to recruit more planets. Coruscant has been rebuilt into the capital for the new Republic, and many senators from many planets come to discuss pressing issues about how the New Republic should be run. The Jedi have been increasing in numbers by the very wise Jedi master Luke Skywalker. Many planets have been rebuilding since there decline during the uprising of the Galactic Empire. It is now the rebirth of the Galaxy, and for the New Republic aided by the Jedi knights to restore peace.
The New Republic has been very paranoid due to multiple Imperial rebel uprisings. The Yuzon Vong invasion were also horrible time for the New Republic. Debates on whether or not a army of the republic. The Senate formed a Council or high Senators to keep the Republic in order, yet limiting the power. The rebellion was crushed and military outposts were put on many suspicious planets. Many planets which have been abandoned for many years have been reinhabited, and that is a valuable key for success for the New Republic. Much trade has been going on between many planets and mining facilities have been made. Though the Imperial Remnant still rule 1/4 of the Galaxy.
The Jedi knights have swelled in numbers since there settling on Dantooine. Luke Skywalker after securing the Jedi temple in dantooine set up a council there and went to Coruscant to rebuild the old Jedi Temple there. Many Jedi move there and a high council of Jedi is created. Luke skywalker marries Mara Jade. Three exiled Jedi start a new cult of dark Jedi (not the sith) and they make war with the Jedi. The Jedi number declines, but not to a high extent. The new Dark Jedi cult is defeated by a crusade lead by Kyle Katarn. The sons and daughter of Han and Leia are born (Jacen, Anakin, Jaina). They become Jedi and Jacen becomes a leading member in the Jedi high council on Coruscant. When Luke skywalker's task was complete and the Jedi and the New Republic was stable he passed into the Force, and became one with the Force. Han and Leia have also passed away.

The New Republic has become stable and military outposts ensure no uprisings of rebellion. Many planets are very wealthy and are at the height of there power with art, trade, advancements, etc. The Jedi order has become a crucial part of the Republic for maintaining peace. The high Jedi Council led by Jedi master Yaldhon, have sent two Jedi knights to investigate the disappearance of two ambassadors of the republic (Jedi knights) who where sent to Nar Shaada to negotiate with the head of criminal operations, Prince Xizor, who has taken control of all the trade with other planets, which means the control of the planet. He refuses to trade anything with inner-rim Republic planets. The Imperial Remnant still poses a threat.
Also the evil Galmond who was exiled from his home planet of Corellia, and is in league with a mysterious ancient enemy. A new shadow looms in the depths of the Galaxy, waiting for the right moment to strike and have there revenge....
